Games are a new way to educate and generate awareness. In children, they are a good option to create the habit of handwashing.
Handwashing is not a habit for many children. This simple activity after go to the bathroom can significantly cut the risk of diarrhea and make the difference in children mortality. Create a game for computers and tablets applying concepts of gamification to help to educate children in handwashing in a funny way. Gamification is a concept that help you to remember, share, reinforce activities and more. All concepts in gamification can be applied in a new game with the goal of create the handwashing habit.
Create handwashing habit would improve children health and reduce mortality due to infectiocious deseases. At the same time, this habit could be shared with other kids with the techniques of gamification.

I worry that the poorest of the poor likely don’t have access to a smart phone, tablet or computer. If they have access to anything, it would be the most simple least expensive Nokia. If you decide to go with a game, it would be good to really focus it on one particular age group.
