Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) provides water to its consumers in Hayatabad. Due acute power shortages and low voltage supply the tube wells do not work and PDA has to meet the water demand of consumers through water tankers.  Although these tankers are free of cost, there are several complaints that the drivers are charging citizens for this service – keeping the money themselves. PDA also wants to be efficient and dispatch the tanker in the quickest possible time but there is no system to check in how long it takes to deliver the water to the consumer.
